QS Rankings for 2023 revealed

The hotly anticipated QS rankings for 2023 are out and they reveal some interesting changes for the year ahead. Each year, universities worldwide are ranked on 8 key indicators that include reputation and number of international students and it continues to be an exceptional indicator of success of a university. This year, MIT remains at the top spot, but Cambridge has overtaken Oxford for second place, pushing Oxford down to a respectful 4th place. The top 10 remains dominated by the UK and US, with the National University of Singapore and Peking University just falling short at 11th and 12th place and Tsinghua University at 14th.

Imperial College London offers new international scholarships for students studying the IB 

Imperial College London has launched new scholarships and they are specifically for those studying the IB. For those who hold places in the Engineering or Natural Sciences faculties and the Business School, up to £3,000 per year could be awarded for academic excellence in the IB. The International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships are only for students studying the IB outside of the UK, giving an excellent opportunity for prospective international students who are considering studying at IC.

A recent article from Business Insider explores the potential of studying a qualification while working and shares the results of a recent workforce survey that suggests this is a very popular benefit offered by employers. If you are at work currently and find yourself wanting to explore your education options further, Business Insider suggests it is worthwhile speaking to your employer as they may have the resources to fund your studies.
