In this article, we focus on our Biochemistry masterclass course led by Myrto, a Cambridge University lecturer and experienced tutor.

In the US alone, Salmonella bacteria causes 1.36m infections and 25,000 hospitalisations each year. In this masterclass, students read and debate the latest research before using mathematical models to investigate the within-host dynamics of Salmonella using experimental data, presenting their findings to our expert panel of judges. Students receive a certificate of participation and a letter of recommendation for successfully completing the active research and presentation.

• 5 lessons starting on 5th July 2021 (other start dates are available).

• 2 - 5 students per group.

This course is designed to give aspiring scientists the proof they need to show Oxbridge, Ivy League and G5 admissions officers they are the best applicants for the toughest of universities.
