GCSE Tuition Offer & Securing Great GCSE Grades
Schools will not be offering GCSE tests in 2020. Instead they will be making predictions based on past and current performance. In order to secure their target grades, students need to produce top quality work over the Easter break and Summer Term to demonstrate their progress.
Our 1-2-1 GCSE grades course will help students provide the evidence they need. Students can study any subject with a qualified teacher to produce work worthy of their target grades. This is then submitted to schools to demonstrate their improving ability as evidence for setting predicted grades

We sympathise with students across the UK at the disruption that has been caused to their GCSE examinations this year. However, revision and preparation for GCSEs is just as vital as before if not more so - to ensure that students achieve the grades that they are truly capable of. With this in mind, we have drafted our own set of GCSE revision tips for students to benefit from. Please find them below:
Identify your key areas of revision.
Don’t focus solely on the subjects and topics that you know well, as tempting as this may be. It is much better to improve yourself and your ability in the subjects you struggle with by memorising key content and then practice applying it. Shoring up your weaknesses by focusing on any subjects you are not sure about should be your initial step. Make a list of subjects and topics to revise and rank them in order of priority.
Set yourself a timetable.
Map out when you will revise and what you will revise on a daily basis. Allot time to each subject/topic using your revision list as a guideline. Focus on creating a realistic timetable, not an aspirational one - you will need to stick to this!
Practice papers are your new best friend!
Once you are comfortable with the core content for any subject or topic, practise applying it repeatedly using past papers. Read through our article on how to use past papers effectively for further guidance.
The Pomodoro technique
The Pomodoro technique is a great way to stay engaged during revision; simply revise for 25 minutes before taking a 5-minute break, and repeat. The science underlying this is that memory retention of information begins to dip after 25 minutes of constant revision. By taking a 5-minute break from revision, you "reset" your brain's ability to absorb information by focusing attention on a different task. Each time you sit down to revise anew, you ensure your brain's peak ability to remember.
Analyse your progress
Use your performance on practice examination papers to guide you in what you revise next. If you scored low marks on a particular question or paper, why? Read through the mark scheme and if need be, the examiner’s report, to determine how to improve in this area. Return to core content if you need to brush up on your knowledge before applying it in a past paper again.
