Free Masterclass in Personal Statement Drafting

At Libra Education, we understand the key elements which students need to be successful in their university applications; this includes the level of care and detail required when creating their personal statement. To support students with this critical stage of their academic career, we are offering a free masterclass in personal statement writing. This lesson is designed for students aged 16 to 22 years old and will support students with preparing content for their personal statement as well as writing the final draft.

Masterclass in Personal Statement Writing

As part of our ongoing series of free lessons, I will be leading a 40-minute masterclass in personal statement writing. This masterclass will support any student who is either writing or preparing for their personal statement.

In this lesson, we are going to cover:

  • The best methods of preparation;

  • The importance of language and structure;

  • Redrafting to arrive at the final draft.

Finally, we will explore what an admissions officer looks for in a student’s personal statement and how to make your personal statement stand out.
