Libra Education Essay Prize 2022

The Libra Education essay prize is an annual competition that allows students in year 12 and 13 to write and submit an essay that builds research, analysis and writing skills needed at university. Participating in the competition enables students to practice these skills, and potentially win a range of prizes that Libra Education has to offer. Participation also provides a great accomplishment for students to discuss in a personal statement or during an interview.

Students are free to choose any subject or combination of subjects for their essay from the titles below. At Libra, we recommend students use their imagination to build interesting links between their chosen essay title and their school learning. The essay must be between 1000-2000 words long with Harvard style referencing (referencing not included in the word count).

The 2022 essay titles are:

1.       Sustainability

2.       Crisis

3.       Return

4.       Connection
