Project Bulletin - March

Project work is a great way for students to independently explore their interests further in a particular subject. In this article series, we share with you a selection of the best student projects, competitions and prizes currently on offer. This provides an excellent opportunity for year 12 and 13 students to develop and hone their writing, research and critical thinking - all essential skills for an exemplar university student.

Completing a project is also an excellent accolade to include in the personal statement; this demonstrates clearly to admissions officers that you have chosen to independently pursue your field of study beyond the curriculum. Your project work also forms a useful topic to draw on at your interview; you can feel more confident in discussing an area of knowledge that you have thoroughly researched and constructed well-evidenced opinions on.
