Successful School Placements
We have a great record in supporting and coaching students to successful school applications all across the UK. This includes day and boarding schools; coeducational and single sex schools; rural and urban locations; and those with a full range of academic requirements.
We are proud to have supported many excellent students to achieve their goal of moving to a new school. Whether by working to develop their interview performance, share new methods of studying or polish an A* response, we always put our students’ success and academic achievement at the forefront of everything that we do.

Falcon’s Preparatory School for Boys
The student had been studying in China and was moving to the UK with his family with the goal of earning a place at a top London day school. He needed to improve his English and adapt to the UK’s style of teaching and learning. We supported him to develop his confidence and ability in English and successfully turned an initial rejection into an offer by Falcon’s Prep using our contacts and connections.
Wycombe Abbey
The student’s goal was to attend a prestigious senior school within the UK and she had her heart set on Wycombe Abbey - an independent girls' boarding school consistently ranked as the top all-girls school nationally in academic results.
We worked with the student and her family to continually challenge and stretch her academic ability over the course of a year with our tutors’ expertise in the 11+ process and our resources, she performed extremely well in her common entrance examinations and succeeded in securing a place at her dream school.
Charterhouse School
The student’s goal was to successfully apply to a top UK public school. We worked with her for a year leading up to her 6th Form applications to Charterhouse. As a bright student suffering with low confidence, she was coached outside of a formal classroom setting to reduce the pressure placed on her shoulders and thereby allowing her to explain her ideas more freely. This interview coaching helped her to shape arguments in a natural and confident way.
Winchester College
Whilst academic results are vital in all schools’ application, the interviews are an increasingly important area of focus for registrars. We supported this student through regular mentoring to develop his critical thinking and to improve his conversational English. He successfully gained a place to study at Winchester College.
Rugby School
The student came to us after making several unsuccessful applications to senior schools in the UK. We worked with him to understand the difficulties he had with the testing; namely a narrow vocabulary and insufficient knowledge of grammar rules. With our help, he improved his English and secured a place at Rugby School through the Headmaster’s list.
Westminster School
This student suffered from low confidence in their academic skills. However, upon assessment we discovered that they certainly had the ability to go to a top UK school. We supported the student with a mixture of English, Maths and interview preparation. Thanks to our help, the student managed to pass all 3 rounds of Westminster’s 11+ entry exams successfully and received an offer. The student also received offer letters from Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School and Merchant Taylors’ School, however, Westminster school was his first choice and he was one of the bright 30 children who achieved entry to this prestigious school.
Shrewsbury School
The student’s goal was to gain admittance to prestigious senior school. Although the student had a good work ethic, their organisational skills were severely lacking. We minimised the amount of organisation required from him by setting the student a revision schedule to follow rigourously with regular calls to check his progress and motivate his revision.
Alongside tutorials to support his understanding in English, maths and science, we were able to support this student to make excellent school applications resulting in his acceptance from Shrewsbury school - one of the UK’s leading co-educational independent schools. We are proud to say that he has now made an excellent start to his GCSE studies at Shrewsbury school.
“Libra Education always know when students need that extra bit of support, I cannot thank them enough for all the help they have given my son while he is in the UK.”
